Zoals de BBC bericht, werd de voormalige leider van de English Defence League (EDL) Tommy Robinson door een rechtbank veroordeeld tot een gevangenisstraf van 18 maanden onvoorwaardelijk wegens hypotheekbedrog ter hoogte van 160.000 Britse Pond.
Robinson, wiens echte naam Stephen Lennon is, stapte vorig jaar uit de EDL en sloot zich aan bij de Quillam-Society, een door vooraanstaande islamitische extremisten opgerichte vereniging.
Volgens hem hadden de straatdemonstraties niet het beoogde effect gehad , omdat ze door gewelddadige rechts-extremisten misbruikt werden en hij een andere manier zocht om het islamitische extremisme te bestrijden. Daar zal hij echter eerst even mee moeten wachten, omdat hij 18 maanden de gevangenis in moet, die hij om veiligheidsredenen in eenzame opsluiting moet doorbrengen. De achtergronden van het vonnis vanwege hypotheekbedrog zijn niet bij ons bekend, maar in november 2013 heeft Robinson wat dit betreft al schuld bekend.
Vorig jaar nog zat hij een gevangenisstraf van tien maanden uit wegens een paspoortdelict. Hij was met het paspoort van iemand anders de VS binnengereisd. Ook deze tien maanden gevangenisstraf bracht hij in eenzame opsluiting door in vier verschillende gevangenissen. De Somalische terreurbeweging Al-Shabaab kondigde meerdere keren aan hem en zijn familie te vermoorden.

Today Tommy Robinson was in court to answer to charges of mortgage fraud, luckily we have a source who has been following this particular case very closely.
It was found that prior to the formation of the EDL Tommy Robinson (Stephen Lennon) had loaned monies to family members and they had used that money to gain a foothold on the property market. Gaining any kind of foothold is incredibly difficult in this day and age, people are quite simply priced out of the market and live with their parents for longer because of these difficulties, and these difficulties are a driving mechanism of fraudulent claims.
Members of Tommy’s family and extended family had used monies lent to them by Tommy to make applications for self cert mortgages. It appears that they had disclosed earnings that were not true and therefore they gained mortgages fraudulently, they have admitted their guilt in relation to these charges. It must be noted however that Tommy has played no part in family members giving false information. Tommy’s guilt, as it were, hinges on the fact that he provided monies to them which they had used to place as a deposit for various properties, this was of course factored into the reasons why they were accepted by mortgage lenders.
Tommy is simply guilty of lending money to his family.
Our source who was at the trial tried to glean more information from Tommy but was knocked back as Tommy said he was bound by the court not to discuss the case. Tommy did however mention that his plea was (at least in part) due to the fact that he was protecting his wife and children because the police were going to drag her through the court which would have meant her picture, her name and her address would have been put in the public domain. I think we can understand his reasons for being protective of her and his children, it’s one thing that Tommy’s face is well known to his enemies, enemies such as terrorist groups like Al-Shabaab for example, it’s quite another thing to put a target on your wife and your children’s heads in the most public way possible.
Had he not resisted efforts to drag his immediate family through the courts, this would have given his enemies everything they needed to attack his wife and children. The kind of people who want Tommy dead would not think twice about targeting them; this is the mentality of Islamist terrorist groups and individuals, they have no respect for the sanctity of life, in fact they prefer death, be it their own or their enemies because they are incessantly engaged in a worldwide jihad.
We must also remember that it is for mortgage fraud charges and for the charges of tax evasion (which Tommy was cleared of only weeks ago in a court of law) that has seen his assets frozen, his family’s houses turned upside down by armed police and his businesses shut down, all these things happened during the tenure of his EDL leadership. Is that simply a coincidence? Would these charges have been brought had Tommy not founded the EDL?

De britse overheid komt achter éen van zijn burgers aan met alles wat ze heeft omdat hij te gevaarlijk en te lastig is. Wat een ongelooflijke schoftenstreek. Ze hebben hem klem – als hij niet meewerkt gaan ze achter zijn gezin aan. Is er nu echt geen politicus die als een bok op de haverkist zit om de zaak open te breken, of is dat ook al te gevaarlijk?

Paul Weston heeft wèl zijn commentaar gegeven, toen Tommy en Kev -onder druk, natuurlijk- besloten, de EDL te verlaten. Hij zag óók, wat er aan de hand was.
Maar die man kan het immers niet alleen! Want HIER hóórde je die zo veelbejubelde Nigel Farage niet!
